Wow! Summer is over and it is finally cooling down here in Austin. Please come Fall weather! I have neglected the blog and Ryan has released a few songs and a Sampler music on NoiseTrade in the meantime! Sorry!
First...The new song! A few months ago Ryan released an acoustic song "It Is Alright" to NoiseTrade and SoundCloud and Bandcamp, and let me just say that it is pretty amazing. Second...the sampler. Hush Tone Records curated a sampler of Ryan's music as an intro into the wonderful songwriting of Ryan Pryor. Initially I was disappointed that some of my favorite songs were not included in the mix, but overall I think it is a great serving of songs especially if someone has never heard Ryan's music. THere's a little bit of everything which is amazing! I also love Ryan's album artwork for the sampler, which can be downloaded for free below through NoiseTrade's website. Almost immediately after picking up the guitar Ryan Pryor began writing his own material feeding off influences from singer-songwriters to R&B icons like Boys II Men. Ryan combines thoughtful lyrics with soaring melodies to create a sound that is truly his own.
