Almost immediately after picking up the guitar Ryan Pryor began writing his own material feeding off influences from singer-songwriters to R&B icons like Boys II Men. Ryan combines thoughtful lyrics with soaring melodies to create a sound that is truly his own. The first installment from Ryan is the Lovely Days EP, which was recorded in Maui towards the end of his stay in the summer of 2011. Thanks for stopping by Ryans fan site! Ryan Pryor –– I'm Not Sure/Mountain Passes (Demo)
While I'm updating the blog, I would be remiss if I didn't also point out that Ryan posted a new demo to soundcloud last week could I'm Not Sure/Mountain Passes. It is eight minutes of goodness and I want to hear a full product of this rough demo. I mean rough nicely because there is a rawness to the song and Ryan's voice that adds a powerful quality. I want more Mountain Passes. And a full album but we will have to continue to wait until that glorious day. Until then, check out my previous post with links to more of Ryan's music. I feel like he has quite the online catalog right now, even though he is not on Spotify any longer. He has not alluded if his music will be returning to that platform or not. It is still on iTunes if you would like to support him there! Anyway, happy hump day!
